Local Infrastructure Program In 2009, the Iowa Legislature appropriated $118.5 million from FY 10 revenue bonds to the I-JOBS Board to distribute - in the form of grants - for disaster rebuilding, reconstruction and replacement of local buildings, flood control and flood protection, and future flood prevention public projects. 2009 Targeted Disaster Rebuilding In 2009, the Iowa Legislatures appropriated $46.5 million from FY 10 revenue bonds through the I-JOBS Board as non-competitive grants for disaster relief and mitigation and local infrastructure grants for renovation and construction projects in Linn County; Cedar Rapids; and the Palo, Elkader, and Charles City fire stations. |
